Cedar Glade Resort /Hotel in conjunction with Crown Point Resort and HSB Productions in Horseshoe Bend, AR is proud to announce the 2012 Horseshoe Health and Medicine Ozarks Got Singers Competition. The Horseshoe Health and Medicine Ozarks Got Singers Competition has a guaranteed grand prize of $5000 for the winner and starts in March. A total of $15,000 in cash and prizes will be given away during the 14 week competition. Cedar Glade Resort/Hotel and Crown Point Resort in Horseshoe Bend, AR account for over 14,000 visitors from all over the country each year in Horseshoe Bend; making this a nationally exposed event. A portion of the proceeds raised will be donated to the Special Olympics on behalf of the Tri-County Board of Realtors. the winners are only announced on the radio show. The 2010 edition of Ozarks Got Singers generated an average of 175 people in attendance for each show and countless thousands of radio listeners. The contest is being promoted as far away as Memphis, Jonesboro, Little Rock and Branson. In addition to traditional media, social media outlets are also being utilized. KAIT 8 in Jonesboro has already featured Cedar Glade Hotel and the contest in two nightly newscasts. The Arkansas Democrat Gazette has also featured the contest in its Sunday edition along with several local papers. The contest will feature up to 150 contestants throughout the 14 week event. Contest shows run approximately 2 hours with a 15 minute intermission. Ten to twelve contestants will compete each week. The 2010 Ozarks Got Singers Competition was one of the most popular events of 2010 in the area.
